Three US hotels join Autograph Collection
Three properties in the southeastern region of the US have become the latest to join Marriott International's Autograph Collection, which now has more than 30 locations in its portfolio.
New Orleans' Saint Hotel, which is the first Autograph Collection property in Louisiana, has recently reopened following an extensive US$45m (EUR33.9m, GBP28.4m) renovation.
Facilities include the Sweet Olive restaurant, the Halo Rooftop Bar and the Burgendy Bar. It is located in the French Quarter and was formerly known as the Audubon Building,.
The two other new additions are located in Miami Beach, Florida. The Winter Haven Hotel first opened in 1939 and was initially designed by renowned architect Albert Anis.
Meanwhile, the Blue Moon Hotel incorporates Art Deco and Mediterranean influences. The facilities include an outdoor splash pool and it is due to undergo restoration work this year.
Autograph Collection vice presdient Kip Vreeland said: "We have been very successful as a result of our discerning selection process to incorporate only unique hotels in our portfolio."
