Three more golf resorts from Intercontinental
Intercontinental Hotels Group has announced a deal with Spanish real estate resort developer, Polaris World Development, to extend the number of golf resorts in its portfolio.
The deal will see three new hotels with courses built in Murcia, Spain.
The Intercontinental El Valle Golf Resort and Crowned Plaza La Tore Golf Resort will each feature an 18-hole course designed by Jack Nicolas and include 110 and 200 rooms respectively. Both are expected to open by the end of 2007.
The first to open however, will be the Intercontinental Mar Manor Golf Resort. The 64-room hotel will have a nine-hole golf course designed by Dave Thomas and is scheduled to open in early 2005.
All the hotels will also feature swimming pools, gyms and spa facilities. Details: www.intercontinental.com
