Three new GMs join greens
Greens Health and Fitness has appointed three general managers at its Shipley, Wakefield and Edinburgh clubs.
Amanda Welsh brings five years’ health and fitness experience to her new role at Shipley. Her most recent role was general manager at Esporta’s Belfast club.
Murtagh Mullholland joins Wakefield from Cannons, where he was general manager for the Norbury club in London.
Meanwhile Chris Hairs joins Greens Edinburgh from his previous role as general manager at Esporta Health and Fitness in Sunderland.
Commenting on her appointment, Welsh said: “Greens is focused on people development and allow the freedom and support to effectively move the business forward. We recently introduced a Big Brother club-based incentive to measure and increase levels of customer service. Every staff member was involved in themed challenges with results measured on customer feedback.”
Meanwhile, Hair says his focus is simple: “To constantly deliver the basics: a clean facility; well maintained equipment; effective programming; and friendly staff.”
