TiLE kicks off in Berlin
Today is the first day of TiLE 2003, the international conference and exhibition for visitor attractions, museums, theme parks, heritage sites, and other leisure venues, being held in Berlin from 17-19 June.
The first session this morning is a market overview, chaired by Leisure Media managing director and editor of Attractions Management magazine, Liz Terry.
Speakers throughout the conference include Nick Varney, CEO of Merlin Entertainment, UK; Jeff Bertus, vice president, IAAPA Europe; Suzanne Melas, director, WaterWorld Waterpark, Cyprus and president of the European Waterpark Association; Martha Van Gelder, group vice president, Sesame Workshop, USA; Philippe l’Helgoualc’h, directeur général, Segece Loisirs et Transactions, France; Antoine van Daele, Managing Director, Amersfoort Zoo, The Netherlands and Nikki Nolan, director of strategic planning and development, The Tussauds Group, UK.
