Tone secures Active Villages contract in Devon
Leisure trust Tone Leisure has secured a contract to operate phase three of an ongoing Active Villages programme in three Devon districts.
Funded by Sport England and Devon County Council, the scheme offers rural communities the chance to experience the fun of sport and encourage people to adopt active lifestyles.
Due to start in March 2012, the contract will see Tone deliver the Active Villages programme in North Devon, Mid Devon and the South Hams.
Tone will develop bespoke sports packages tailored to local needs and deliver them within the communities themselves.
