Top Ten adds eight bingo sites to portfolio
Top Ten Holdings has acquired eight bingo clubs from the administrators of The Mason Organisation.
The clubs, bought for a total of £5.8m, are based in the north east and include sites in Durham, Stanley, Gateshead, Darlington, Boldon, Billingham, Southwick and Silkworth.
All have remained open during administration except for the Billingham club, which is also the only club held leasehold.
The remaining seven clubs had a joint turnover of £4.36m to October 2002.
Alan Weston, CEO of Top Ten Holdings, said: “W e are extremely excited about this acquisition. The clubs fit ideally into our existing portfolio of traditional town centre sites and we are confident we can make substantial improvements to them very quickly.”
The clubs were acquired by Edward Symmons Hotel & Leisure on behalf of Top Ten Holdings.
