Total Gym for Everyone Active facilities
Total Gym GTS equipment has been installed by Everyone Active at three leisure centres in south east England ahead of a planned wider roll-out across the operator's estate next year.
Two facilities in Hertfordshire - Fanshawe Swimming Pool and Gym in Ware and Watford Leisure Centre Central - and Spelthorne Leisure Centre, Staines are taking part in the trial.
Free group training classes will be offered during the launch period at the venues in January, with training on the Total Gym equipment based around four core Gravity-branded modules.
The modules comprise strength; cardiovascular; plyometrics; and sports specific training, in addition to movements for members with limited mobility.
Everyone Active southeast regional director Duncan Jefford said: "Total Gym equipment can cover so many different types of training it virtually guarantees us a decent return.
"It's much more cost effective than a bulky, old fashioned pin loaded weight machine and the versatility of the exercises means there is something for everyone."
