Tourism Together launches website
Tourism Together – a partnership of five tourism organisations created last November to undertake joint aims – has launched its official website.
The organisation comprises the British Resorts and Destinations Association (BRADA); Destination Performance UK (DP:UK); Institute for Sport, Parks & Leisure (ISPAL); Tourism Management Institute (TMI) and Tourism Society (TS).
It aims to more effectively represent the views and improve training for its 3,500 individual and 200 public sector agency members.
BRADA and DP:UK members are mainly drawn from local authorities, whereas ISPAL, TMI and TS memberships are predominantly individual, with some corporate memberships.
Tourism Together plans to work closely with Visit Britain to create online resources and promote best practice for those training or employed in the tourism sector, as well as to liase closely with other bodies in order to improve communications and national event planning.
