Tourism apps launched in Northern Ireland
Four new mobile applications providing information on visitor attractions, accommodation and events in Northern Ireland have been launched by tourism minister Arlene Foster.
It follows a procurement process run by the Technology Strategy Board's Small Business Research Initiative, enabling small technology firms to provide innovative solutions. The apps are now on the market and include Pocket Northern Ireland; Take A Hike walking app; My Tour Talk, providing walking and driving tour ideas; and View Ranger.
Foster said: "These new apps will inform our visitors while they are here and will help them make the most of the many events, attractions and activities we have on offer."
