Town Centre Restaurants to expand Café Giardino brand
Town Centre Restaurants (TCR) is seeking five new sites this year in shopping centre locations in south-east England to expand its Café Giardino brand.
The expansion will be funded by the Bank of Scotland.
TCR also owns and operates the Auberge and Azzurro chains but has no plans to open further outlets at present owing to strong competition in the restaurant sector.
The independently-owned company reported that trading for the 12 months ending January 2006 exceeded all expectations with turnover topping £27m. Details: www.towncentrerestaurants.co.uk
