Trans Studio World set for Indonesia
The IDR 3 trillion ($US300m, £181.5m, 206m euro) Trans Studio World indoor theme park in the South Sulawesi Province of Indonesia is scheduled for completion in 2010.
The 6.7-acre attraction located on the 14-acre Trans Studio Resort near the capital city of Makassar will boast Tsunami Island, Magic Museum, Other World, Rafting, Terror Twister, Magic Corner and Lost World.
The park will also offer visitors an indoor and outdoor shopping arcade, restaurants and a five-star hotel, as well as a marina and a recreational beach arena.
Managed by PT Trans Kalla - a partnership company between Para Group and Kalla Group - and owned television broadcasting company Trans Corp, the attraction was designed by John Stevenson, director of the film Kung Fu Panda.
