Travelodge acquires last three Purple Hotels
Travelodge has bought the last three remaining leases from Purple Hotels for £14m.
Purple Hotels was owned by The Real Hotel Company, which went into administration in January this year.
Travelodge bought the hotels – the 71-room Purple Hotel Tewkesbury in Gloucestershire, the 84-room Purple Hotel Derby in Derbyshire and the 103-room Purple Hotel Sheffield Meadowhall in South Yorkshire – from the company’s administrator BDO Stoy Hayward.
All three hotels will be rebranded.
