Trearddur Bay Hotel earns service excellence first for Wales
A 42-bedroom hotel in Anglesey is the first privately-owned hotel in Wales to achieve the HCIMA’s Hospitality Assured status.
The focus of the HCIMA accreditation for the Trearddur Bay Hotel centred on the hotel’s public areas, indoor swimming pool, bedrooms, 65-cover a la carte restaurant and conference facilities accommodating up to 180 delegates.
Hospitality Assured general manager, Tony Lainchbury MHCIMA, said the Trearddur Bay’s management and staff were to be heartily congratulated: “It is due to their fine efforts that the Trearrddur Bay is not only the first privately-owned hotel in Anglesey, but indeed the whole of Wales, to achieve Hospitality Assured.
“The hotel has provided an excellent example for other proprietor-owned organisations in the principality to follow.”
Over 100 operations have now achieved Hospitality Assured, including Center Parcs and Warner Holidays; local authorities such as Nottinghamshire County Council and caterer, Sodexho. Details: www.hospitalityassured.com
