Triplex Greens Brush helps at Ashburnham
Greens staff at Ashburnham Golf Club has been using the Raycam Triplex Greens Brush for the past three months, with positive results.
Distributed in the UK by Campey Turfcare Systems, the device is fitted to the front of a Toro 3250D, allowing two jobs - mowing and brushing - to be completed at one time.
The Raycam Triplex Greens Brush lifts lateral growth to help in preventing a build-up of thatch. This then leaves a surface with only vertical growth, allowing greens to run truer.
Huw Morgan, course manager at Ashburnham GC says: "Normally we would use a sweeper to remove the damp, but the Triplex brush does this for us. The action of the brushes sweeps away the dampness and allows a cleaner, surer cut."
