The Trump Hotel Collection is to debut in Panama in the spring of next year, marking the brand's arrival in Latin America.

Situated on the oceanfront of the Punta Pacifica peninsula and overlooking Panama Bay and the Pearl Islands, the 70-storey Trump Ocean Club International Hotel & Tower has been created to represent a sail spreading into the wind. Designed by Arias Serna Saravia in conjunction with Panama City-based Newland International Properties, it will offer 369 rooms including 47 suites.

The heart of the hotel is a 13th-floor roof deck featuring two pools, one of them an infinity-edge pool; private cabanas; leisure activities; an open-air bistro and bar; and a three-storey sky lobby. Elsewhere in the building is The Spa at Trump, at which customised spa treatments will be a feature, with guests having a choice of five Trump Personal Intentions: Calm, Balance, Purify, Heal or Revitalise.

Also to be on offer are a full-service fitness centre, a casino, two floors of retail outlets and more than 16,000sq ft (1,486sq m) of meeting space.
