Fairmont is due to open its new Fairmont Quasar, Istanbul in January 2017, located above the slopes of the Bosphorous.

Fairmont Quasar Istanbul will bring “the Fairmont heritage of distinction and style” to Istanbul and will fuse with the city’s history and traditions “to bring guests an exceptional experience in the heart of one of the world’s most talked about destinations”.

The Hotel’s Spa, the 2,000 sq m (21,527sq ft) Willow Stream Spa, pays homage to Turkish tradition with a Turkish bath and authentic hammam treatments, stress relief and skin care treatments.

Spa facilities include a state-of-the-art gym, a yoga room, an indoor pool with a retractable glass separator that opens up in spring and summer and an outdoor pool.

Last month, the architectural concept for Fairmont’s Moroccan development, Fairmont Taghazout Bay, was announced by architects HKS.
