Twist and step
New from Sanyo, and brought to the UK by Sasaki International, is the e-Jog Twist Stepper, claimed to be a step machine with a difference.
In addition to the usual up and down motion of most stepping machines, the base of the machine also twists from left to right in a bid to both increase the speed at which calories are burned as well as allowing users an enhanced range of movement.
The e-Jog's onboard computer automatically generates these movements, with the machine coming with a range of programmes to suit different fitness levels.
A 15-minute session is said to consist of around 3,000 steps.
