Two locations for Bodhi Dhama Group
The Bodhi Dhama Group – launched in 2008 by the former global director of spa for the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, Ingo Schweder – has revealed it has two international locations in development.
The first urban wellness retreat will be part of Sama Dubai’s US$18bn (E13.9bn, £11.7bn) The Lagoons mixed-use development, located on the waterfront overlooking the Dubai Opera house in Dubai, UAE.
It will be co-created by the Bodhi Dhama Group and sister company Spatality and is scheduled to open in 2011.
There will also be another Bodhi Dhama Group site in Lijang, China, which will open in 2011-12 and be located within the city’s 82-acre (33.1ha) World Heritage Park.
BDG has been created as a destination and retreat concept, combining a residential offering with yoga and lifestyle elements. Details: spatality.com
