Two new adiZones to be created in Cardiff
Cardiff Council has announced that work is now underway on the creation of two adiZones in the city - at Cardiff Bay Barrage and Howard Gardens, Adamsdown.
The outdoor multi-purpose sports facilities are part of Adidas' bid to leave a sporting legacy from the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Each site will boast an 18-station outdoor gym; a basketball area; a football goal; a climbing wall; a tennis wall; and an open area for dance, gymnastics and aerobics.
Cardiff Council executive member for sport, leisure and culture Nigel Howells said: "I am confident that these facilities will be successful in making sport accessible to people of all ages."
