Two new waterparks unveiled in China
Two new waterparks - featuring a range of attractions and slides supplied by the US-based company, WhiteWater West - have opened to the public in China.
Lubura Waterpark in Changzhou has been designed with a dinosaur theme and includes the country's first Abyss slide, which combines on one tower with the Family Boomerango. The waterpark has also been supplied with an AquaPlay Rain Fortress, which incorporates a number of large-scale dinosaur features in order to link in with the design of the park.
Elswhere, the OCT Happy Valley waterpark in Shenzhen also boasts a Family Boomerango, along with a Family Raft Ride; a SuperBowl; and an AquaLoop complex. Other experiences on offer at the Shenzhen attraction are the Multi-Lane Mat Racer and the AquaPlay RainFortress. The design of the park aims to mimic a "Mayan paradise".
A WhiteWater West spokesperson said: "With a number of world-class waterparks currently in development in Asia, this market will have the newest, largest and most thrilling attractions in the industry from WhiteWater."
