UK Fitness Network awards announced
The UK Fitness Network (UKFN) has announced the winners of its annual awards.
This year’s winners were Danielle Davies (Barnet Copthall Leisure Centre – Greenwich Leisure) who was given the sales person of the year award; Linda Boult (Thame Leisure Centre - Nexus Community Leisure), who was named receptionist of the year; and Westway Development Trust (Portobello Green Fitness Centre), which was given the title of trust of the year.
The ceremony was held during UKFN’s staff conference at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre Centre.
The UKFN is a collaboration of the UK Leisure trusts, who's ambition is to join up the UK's trust run leisure centres.
Born out of the London Fitness Network pilot scheme, which launched January 2004, the UKFN is a group currently consists of 13 not-for-profit leisure trusts operating 126 leisure centres across the UK.
The UKFN was formed in February this 2009 and agreed to make communication and the sharing of ideas and best practice at the heart of its priorities.
