Union Canal pub sold to independent owner
Dunedin Pub Company has sold its Bridge Inn pub and restaurant on the Union Canal in the village of Ratho, Scotland to Graham and Rachel Bucknall for an undisclosed sum.
Situated on the outskirts of Edinburgh, the Bridge Inn was previously used as a farmhouse, dating from the middle of the 18th Century, it has been substantially extended and upgraded over the years.
Recently refurbished in 2006, the Bridge Inn’s facilities comprise a 75-cover restaurant, a lounge bar and a separate cocktail bar.
Property specialist Christie + Co acted on the deal on behalf of Dunedin.
