Upgrade for Heywood sports centre
Following the positive response to Power Plate machines installed at Middleton Arena, operator Link4Life is to introduce four more machines at its Heywood Sports, Culture and Leisure Complex next year.
The move is part of a £30m upgrading of facilities managed by Link4Life on behalf of Rochdale Borough Council, which has also included the opening of Middleton Arena and refurbishments to Bowlee Park Sports Centre (formerly Furrow Sports Centre), Marland Golf Course, Rochdale's Central Leisure Centre, Springhill Sports Centre and Athletics Arena, Littleborough Sports Centre and Hollingworth Lake Water Activity Centre.
