VSS launches new sports simulator system
Canadian company Visual Sports Systems (VSS) has launched a new version of its RealSports sports simulator system.
The current Classic simulator allows players to take part in a range of different sports experiences, including soccer goal kicks, ice hockey penalties, basketball and golf.
VSS have designed the new MAX REALSPORTS system to offer the same popular game play in a re-configured package for the European market. It will provide a lower-cost system with a smaller footprint.
The system uses a special four-camera 'Machine Vision' technology to digitally capture the player and the ball or pucks movements in real-time and the game's software can then incorporate these actions.
Of canvas and tubular frame construction for quick and easy installation, MAX uses the Windows XP Professional operating system, housed in a high-end Pentium IV industrial PC running the latest graphic acceleration.
VSS is offering a special price package for the system, which will be under £19,000.00 and include specialist support from the company's technical team.
