Venues booked for REPs’ conventions
Venues have been booked for the three Register of Exercise Professionals’ (REPs) conventions in November.
The Glasgow conference will be held at the University of Paisley on 10 November, followed the second convention Manchester City Football Club’s grounds on 17 November The third, in Wales, will be held at a central Cardiff location on 24 November.
Each of the days will start with a keynote presentation by guest speakers James Edwards and former golf professional Dr Karl Morris, who will share the importance of training the mind for physical success.
Paul Bedford will then give an insight into his research of what customers want. The results of the Working in Fitness Survey 2006, covering pay and conditions, will also be announced and the first election of members to serve on the REPs Council.
A networking lunch with REPs-approved training providers will lead to nine technical workshops for members to gain CPD points in the afternoon.
Around 150 delegates are expected at each event and demand for passes, priced at just £30, is expected to be high.
