Virgin Atlantic launches Cowshed concept at Heathrow

Virgin Atlantic has opened a new day spa at its £11m flagship lounge at Heathrow airport in London, UK.

The spa, called Cowshed at the Clubhouse, will offer travellers a range of treatments, including tanning, massages, facials, pedicures and manicures.

Amenities include a spa pool, a sauna, six steamrooms and six shower booths.

There will also be a hairdressing salon within the spa area. The spa has been designed by London-based architects Softroom with Soho House acting as consultants to create the feel of a private club.

Other facilities at the Clubhouse lounge include a cinema, a bar, a games area, a sky lounge and a children’s play area.
