Long-haul airline Virgin Atlantic will be the headline sponsor of the Visit London 2008 Awards.

Taking place on 27 November at the Royal Albert Hall, this year’s Visit London Awards will be presented by Capital radio's Johnny Vaughan and Lisa Snowdon and include a key address by the mayor of London, Boris Johnson.

The Visit London partnership with Virgin Atlantic builds on a three-year Awards relationship between the capital’s tourism agency and one of the UK’s leading international carriers.

Tourism is worth over £16 billion each year to London’s economy and supports over 250,000 full-time jobs.
