Wahanda has announced the launch of Wahanda Connect, the first online booking system connecting businesses with customers.

The new concept is designed to provide an end-to-end marketing solution for the health and beauty industry, enabling spas, salons and wellbeing, fitness and beauty professionals to get listed and sell to the customer via the largest health and beauty network in the UK. Wahanda currently boasts 250,000 listed venues; 14,000 health, beauty and spa offers; and 40,000 reviews.

Key benefits of Wahanda Connect include the ability to fill both peak and off-peak appointments, yield-manage pricing, accept bookings 24/7, minimise the number of no-shows and reach high quality customers.

Provided free are a scheduling tool, Wahanda listing, customer reviews and visibility on search results.

For a fee of just £30 per month, businesses will also gain an easy-to-use appointment system; enhanced listings; priority placement on search; 100 SMS customer reminders; the ability to sell on Wahanda and lastminute.com via the supplier's own website or Facebook page; a booking microsite; and e-Voucher packages.

Customers will be able to see the availability of their chosen treatment within their area at their chosen time and book the treatment online. Wahanda will then send them an instant email confirmation.

The booking data supplied by Wahanda Connect can be updated by the salon owner to avoid double-booking or administrative errors.

Businesses can send free text confirmations, reminders and offers to build customer loyalty and provide a better user experience.

With access to Wahanda's ever-growing base of 1.5m monthly health and beauty customers, suppliers can use Wahanda Connect to manage their marketing, scheduling and inventory in one central system.

The tools ensure an incremental increase in sales by not only reaching high quality customers but also retaining existing clientele to ensure optimum yield and resulting in full treatment rooms.
