Wandsworth performing arts centre opens
A new performing arts and movement centre - the Apogee Centre - has officially opened at Linden Lodge School in Wandsworth, South London.
The facility is named after the project's major sponsor and features increased physiotherapy floor space; trampolines sunk into the floor; and purpose-built dance and drama areas. It is hoped the additional space will ensure that dance, drama and arts performances can be filmed and replayed using large-screen technology. The school supports pupils with visual impairments and learning difficulties.
