The Kalahari Resort and Convention Centre in Wisconsin Dells, USA, will be among the latest projects to call on the services of NBGS International.

In an effort to keep pace with growing demand, the facility has doubled the size of its indoor waterpark, with the 58,000sq ft addition scheduled to open on 20 December, in time for the peak holiday season.

The expansion includes a five-storey tower with a 570ft-long Master Blaster uphill water coaster and a 505ft-long family raft ride. There is also a Multilevel Playscape with more than 80 hands-on water features and two body slides.

Sound and light effects create 'hydrostorms' that culminate in a 750-gallon shower of water from a 30ft totem structure.

NBGS collaborated on the project with Wizard Works. The aquatic facility was designed by Ramaker & Associates of Sauk City, Wisconsin.

NBGS's European office saw Basingstoke Aquadrome in the UK open this summer with a range of its rides and attractions. Over 85,000 visitors have used the facilities - including an indoor Master Blaster, Tube ride and Space Bowl - in the last few months.

Another NBGS UK client is the National Aquatic Centre in Dublin, opening next year. Guests will be able to enjoy a Master Blaster, a Flow Rider and a Buccaneer Pirate Ship.
