Weekend in Sydney up for grabs in seal naming competition
Throughout March, Sydney Aquarium in New South Wales, Australia, is inviting guests to vote for their favourite name for a baby seal, with the chance to win a family weekend at Darling Harbour.
The young male sub-Antarctic fur seal was washed up injured on Stockton beach, north of Sydney, and arrived at the aquarium in late 2007.
The competition, worth AUS$1,400, (US$1,295, £640, 820euro) includes accommodation and breakfast at the Grand Mercure apartments, entry to six Sydney attractions, a three-course meal at Jordan’s Seafood Restaurant and a three-day monorail pass.
The winning entry will be drawn on 4 April.
