Wellcome explores sleep
A new £30m (US$61m, 44.3m euro) visitor attraction called the Wellcome Collection has opened in London, UK.
The 16,000sq m (172,000sq ft) facility on art, science and history, is opening a temporary Sleeping and Dreaming exhibition in November, which will run until March 2008.
The display aims to explain the biomedical and neurological processes that take place during sleep and how dreams link with our everyday social and cultural lives, under the first of a two-part collaboration with the Hygiene Museum in Germany.
