Wellfit has announced the launch of a flagship location at Reem Hall in Abu Dhabi. Due to open this summer it will be the company’s first site in the city and sixth in United Arab Emirates.
Wellfit Reem Island will span 50,000 square feet and feature more than 120 cardio and strength machines with suppliers including Precor, Life Fitness / Hammer Strength, Booty Builder and Eleiko.
There will also be multiple studios and dedicated training zones, including a martial arts zone, a spin studio and a children’s studio with a Multiball interactive wall. Les Mills group exercise programming will be on offer.
The Hyrox-affiliated centre will have certified coaches, specialised programmes and exclusive benefits for members competing in the events, supported by a range of equipment from Centr, Woodway, Concept2 and Assault Fitness.
There will be a recovery zone with Hyperice equipment, men’s and women’s saunas, cold plunges and experiential showers.
Additional services include an in-club restaurant, Hungry Wolves and AI in-body assessment technology from Shosabi and male and female prayer rooms.
Bruce von Kaufmann, COO at Reem Mall, says: “The addition of Wellfit to Reem Mall marks a significant milestone in our mission to become a hub for world-class experiences and the go-to community destination in Abu Dhabi. We are providing our visitors with a premier health and wellness sanctuary.”
