Welsh smoking ban campaign launched
The Welsh branch of the British Medical Association, BMA Cymru Wales, has launched a campaign to urge pubs and restaurants in Wales to ban smoking as soon as possible.
The Why Wait? campaign invites pubs and restaurants to pre-empt the national smoking ban, which is likely to come into effect in 2007.
Establishments that provide smoke-free environments will receive a BMA Cymru Wales sticker with the slogan ‘Doctors Support Health’. Details: www.bma.org.uk
