Wentworth Grill gains Caprice staff
Caprice Holdings – owner of celebrity restaurants including The Ivy and Le Caprice – is opening a 120-cover restaurant and bar at the Surrey-based Wentworth golf club.
The existing restaurant will close on 9 February for £400,000 refurbishment before reopening on 10 March as the Wentworth Grill.
Steve Tonkin, formerly of The Ivy, will become executive chef while Pepe Merdzan, the current manger of Le Caprice, will supervise front of house. Details: www.caprice-holdings.co.uk
