Wet 'n' Wild waterpark opens in Phoenix
A new US$30m (£18.3m, AUD$36.6m, €21.2m) Wet 'n' Wild waterpark opened in Phoenix, Arizona, US, last month at the Adobe Dam Regional Park.
The 35-acre park boasts more than 30 rides and attractions, including a two-seater dueling Master Blaster uphill water coaster, that features parallel slide paths the full length of the ride and North America's first six-person Family Boomerango.
It also offers a Hawaiian-themed AquaPlay RainFortress, a SuperBowl and a Family Raft Ride. The attractions have been supplied by WhiteWater West.
Wet 'n' Wild Phoenix operates as a concessionaire of the Maricopa County Department of Parks and Recreation and is owned by Village Roadshow Theme Parks USA, part of Village Roadshow.
