Wetherspoon hotel expansion
Pub chain JD Wetherspoon is set to expand its budget hotel chain by opening a further three sites over the next three months.
The company, which already has six 25 to 30-room lodges in England and Scotland, plans to invest more than £3.5m to build three sites in Monmouth, Bridgend and Kings Lynn.
'We believe the time is now right to open more lodges across the UK, they have proved very popular to a wide range of people, from those on business to those travelling for pleasure,' said Wetherspoon Lodges area manager, Tim Brown.
Additional lodges are planned for Leicester, Southampton and Henley-on-Thames later this year. Details: +44 (0)1923 477777
