Work begins on Hong Kong Disneyland expansion
Work has begun on the US$452m (£283m, 314m euro) expansion of Hong Kong Disneyland.
The expansion will include three themed areas – Grizzly Gulch, Mystic Point and Toy Story Land. As previously reported in Leisure Opportunities, the first two areas will be exclusive to Hong Kong Disneyland for two years.
The theme park, a joint venture between the HKSAR government and the Walt Disney Company, opened in 2005.
The project is expected to be completed by 2014.
