Work begins on £12m Surrey leisure complex
Work begins later this month on a £12m leisure complex at Walton-on-Thames in Surrey.
The facility will be operated on a 25-year lease by DC Leisure on behalf of Elmbridge Borough Council.
The centre is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2006 and will include two swimming pools, a climbing wall, indoor bowls, squash courts, a gym, dance and fitness studios and a restaurant.
The team working on the development includes architects S&P and construction company Willmott Dixon.
