Work starts on Folkestone sports ground
Shepway District Council (SDC) has started work on a three-part development to provide a range of new facilities at Cheriton Road Sports Ground in Folkestone, Kent.
The scheme is being supported by the Roger de Haan Charitable Trust, with the council set to lease the ground to the Cheriton Road Sports Ground Trust when complete. An existing artificial pitch is to be replaced with two new pitches, netball courts and a multi-use games area, with a new pavilion and sports hall to be added later this year.
