Work starts on Stafford park play area
Stafford Borough Council (SBC) has confirmed that work is now underway on the creation of a new play area at the town's Victoria Park.
Members of the council's design team visited local nurseries, schools and colleges in order to shape plans for the facility, as well as consulting with user groups. The £650,000 scheme will see two play areas replaced with new equipment and landscaping with the creation of a dedicated youth area and a toddler and junior playground.
An existing paddling pool will also be replaced with a sand and water play feature.
