Work starts on £150,000 Ulverston play area
South Lakeland District Council (SLDC) has commenced work on the construction of a new £150,000 play area in Ulverston, Cumbria.
Funding for the scheme has been secured from the Big Lottery Fund and will support the installation of a range of new equipment for children of all ages. SLDC portfolio holder for communities and wellbeing Hilary Stephenson said: "This project is very exciting and will provide an excellent facility for the children and young people of this community."
The play area is scheduled for completion by the end of March.
