Work to start on Bangor regeneration scheme
Gwynedd Council has revealed that work on the next phase of a £3.5m regeneration of Bangor, North Wales, is to start in early 2011.
The project is being funded as part of the Welsh Assembly Government's £38m North Wales Regeneration Scheme, which is being delivered in partnership with the council. Work will include improvements to the High Street and the Tan y Fynwent areas and is designed to help attract more visitors to the city.
