Work to start on Pontypridd regeneration scheme
Rhondda Cynon Taf Council (RCTC) has revealed that work is to start on the first phase of a multi-million pound scheme to regenerate Pontypridd.
Costain has been appointed to deliver the scheme on behalf of the council, with work due to get underway on 14 February to overhaul the town's streetscape. RCTC has secured £10.5m from the Welsh Assembly Government and European Union to help fund the project, which aim to enhance the town centre for residents and visitors.
Each section is expected to take up to six months to complete.
