Work underway on US$70m USC facility
A groundbreaking ceremony has been held at the University of Southern California (USC) to mark the start of work on its new US$70m (£44.2m) sports facility.
The 110,000sq ft (10,219sq m) John McKay Center will be located to the west of Heritage Hall and will feature an athletic training room and a weight room. A locker room for the football programme; coaches offices; meeting rooms; and a digital media production facility for USC's sports are also proposed.
Work is expected to take 18 months to complete.
