World record broken with Precor treadmill
Using a Precor C966 treadmill, the Gym Fit club in Berne, Switzerland, recently saw the world walking record broken.
The target was for 1000 people to walk for 10,000 minutes without interruption. After just short of seven days, the 1000th walker – Beat Camenzind, president of PluSport – came in to set a new world record, which has now been ratified by the Guinness Book of Records.
The sponsored walk rose a total of SwFr 22,350 for local charities.
