Worldwide partnership for Agilysys and J2 Retail Systems
Agilysys (Europe) Ltd has selected touchscreen monitor and Point of Sale (PoS) hardware manufacturer J2 Retail Systems (J2) to be a global partner.
The partnership will see the two companies teaming up to provide an electronic PoS (EPoS) option to the likes of hotels, casinos, cruise ships and stadia.
The joint venture has already secured its first contract with an installation at the luxury Murrayshall Hotel in Perth, Scotland, with property management and PoS solution running on two J2 580s.
Tina Stehle, senior vice president & general manager of Agilysys Hospitality Solutions Group, says: "J2, with its in-house R&D facility, is constantly looking to future development and investing in innovation to keep ahead of its competition. By supplying J2 products, we can pass on that technology leadership to our customers."
