Wycombe stadium project timeline published
A timeline outlining how proposals for a new community stadium and sports facility in High Wycombe will progress during 2011 has been published by the local authority.
Wycombe District Council (WDC) has produced the document, which runs until the end of the year and sets out when important decisions in the process are likely to be made. Milestones on the timeline include the anticipated submission of a planning application from Wycombe Sports Development Limited and the subsequent public consultation.
A WDC spokesperson said: "The first decision, highlighted on the timeline, was taken in the open part of the cabinet meeting, when an extension to the Collaboration Agreement between the Council and WSDL was approved. "This extension to the Collaboration Agreement was given to enable the council - as a major landowner - to complete further investigation into the feasibility of the project and to review a strategic outline business case for it."
