X-Leisure buys into Brighton Marina
X-Leisure, the leisure property fund of asset manager Capital & Regional, has bought the commercial properties of Brighton Marina for £65m.
The development plan, designed in partnership with Parkridge, includes up to 1,500 residential units and 250,000sq ft of additional commercial space.
The deal takes X-Leisure Fund’s gross asset value over the £593m mark.
PY Gerbeau, chief executive of X-Leisure, said: “This is one of the most exciting leisure schemes we have been involved with and has huge potential to become one of the leading experience-based leisure destinations in the UK.”
Brighton Marina covers over 20 acres and includes leisure tenants such as David Lloyd Leisure, Bowlplex and London Clubs.
