Yorkshire regiment museum relaunches
Doncaster Council has announced the relaunch of the King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry (KOYLI) Museum, following the completion of a £230,000 overhaul of the attraction.
The Heritage Lottery Fund contributed £204,000 towards the scheme, with donations from a number of sources such as KOYLI trustees and Friends of Doncaster Museums.
Located at Doncaster Museum and Art Gallery, the museum explores the long history of the regiment and includes exhibits such as a recreated World War One trench section.
